Join us on Saturday 29th May for Addison’s Disease Day 2021!
We’re asking everyone around the world who is affected by Addison’s disease and adrenal insufficiency to join us in a day of raising awareness. The 29th May is the birthday of John F Kennedy, the US President who managed his Addison’s disease and other autoimmune conditions in secret. This is our third #AddisonsDiseaseDay and this year we will be focusing on ‘Being Prepared’.
Can you help? We need your support for this day – every share of our awareness raising materials, every challenge started, every penny donated – we can’t make #AddisonsDiseaseDay a success without you. Together we will help improve the lives of those with Addison’s disease and adrenal insufficiency.
Here are seven ways you can get involved:
#AddisonsDiseaseDay – share & educate
You don’t have to wait for the 29th May, using the hashtag #AddisonsDiseaseDay now helps raise awareness of the day and encourages people to join us on the day. Use the hashtag when sharing your story online, shining a light on how people affected by Addison’s disease and adrenal insufficiency are feeling right now and how you are raising awareness of the big day.
Share our free publications, educational materials and social media posts with those who might benefit from finding out more. If you have plans to feature Addison’s Disease Day in your publication, podcast or blog – please get in touch to let us know so we can help support your feature.
